Cat Care
There is an additional $10 surcharge for services the week of major Holidays. Cat visits are each day or every other day. General cat care services include playtime/exercise, scooping litter on each visit and checking food and water levels. Urban Out Sitters does not guarantee a consistent time for each visit. Clients returning home early from vacation are not refunded for remaining visits; please book accordingly. Clients with cat(s) requiring insulin, pills or any medication will pay an additional $5 per cat, per visit.
Visits
Our catsitters visit your cat(s) each day. During the visit; you can expect they will replenish food and drinking water, clean the litter box, and can bring in your mail by request.
As a courtesy, clients may request a phone call during each visit.
(This allows a client the opportunity to check-in and to speak with the sitter)
Urban Out Sitters has a team of catsitters assigned to the same cat each vist. However, in the case of an illness or reassignment - Urban Out SItters will send a substitute sitter. If your cat(s) require specific needs, medication and food - please provide written instructions for our sitters.
Meet and greets are available upon request.
Clients can request cat care service each day or every other day.
Feeding
Clients must leave specific care, feeding and detaled instructions for our sitters.
Owners must supply enough food for the duration of the vacation.
Medicating
All medications must be clearly marked and noted specific administering instructions.
Keys
Your keys are safely managed at our main West Loop Facility.
Clients must supply Urban Out Sitters with two (2) sets of working keys no less than 24hours prior to service*.
If new keys are made, please be certain both sets are working.
*Urban Out Sitters requires (2) sets of working keys.
(We recommend a second set of keys by the off chance one set fails or breaks.)
*Do not leave keys with a doorperson or on-site custodian.
Authorization
If your building offers 24hour entry (doorperson or on-site custodian); please provide written access for Urban Out Sitters to enter the building and your dwelling. Urban Out Sitters is a bonded and insured company.
Drop-Off
The West Loop Facility accepts keys Monday-Friday 7am-9pm. Clients may drop-off keys at our Lakeview Facility no less than 48hours prior to service - allowing ample time for transport to our West Loop Facility.
Pick-Up
Clients can leave their keys on file with Urban Out Sitters for future use or they can choose to pick them up after service. The West Loop Facility returns keys Monday-Friday 7am-9pm. Keys can be transported to our Lakeview Facility with 24hour notice. Urban Out SItters will not return keys by mail.
Service Request
Urban Out SItters is happy to assist with your service request. Clients may either call a
UOS location within hours of operation or utilize our reservation line. An email confirmation
will be sent to guarantee your service is booked.

We recommend you contact our office and speak to someone directly when booking service less than 24 hours. After hours overnight coorespondance via email or voicemail cannot guarantee next day service.
